About Pathways
Our Experience
Our founder, Jamie Jones, is also the founder of the 501c3 nonprofit, Asha's Refuge, in Memphis, TN. She has over 15 years of experience working with refugees and immigrants from all over the world. Jamie has additionally worked as a regional resettlement advisor for Samaritan's Purse and currently works as a Contractor for Bethany Christian Services (a resettlement agency in Memphis, TN). Over the years, she has advocated for over 4,000 newcomers. Jamie created a culturally friendly welcoming process for newcomers by building sustainable programs in collaboration with agencies to make clearer pathways for vulnerable newcomers to successfully resettle in the U.S. Jamie has completed college courses in various subject areas aiming to help those she seeks to serve. Her combined courses at the University of Memphis and Liberty University offered her an Interdisciplinary Bachelor's of Science degree focused on nonprofit management, psychology, behavioral sciences, and government. Jamie's journey in life has also afforded her to have additional experiences that she commonly uses throughout her nonprofit and consultant work. Jamie is full of passion to better welcome newcomers and to mentor individuals and groups seeking to serve them.
